Our beloved son Amichai הי"ד was killed after a courageous and heroic battle on the Shabbat of Simcha Torah.  During the fighting Amichai, through true self-sacrifice, saved many of his fellow soldiers as well as many of the residents of the settlements in proximity of his outpost in which he fought.

His trait of giving of himself was a basic attribute that characterized Amichai throughout his life. Several of his organs were transplanted in people in critical condition, and thus Amichai continues to save lives even after his death. 

Knowing our dear son Amichai and his many exceptional attributes and character traits, and as we continue to hear from his many, many friends inspirationally arousing stories of his short life - we would like to perpetrate his memory and outstanding personality in a memorial movie.  This will enable many people to be acquainted with Amichai and learn from his heroism, self- sacrifice and many very special qualities.

We believe that such a movie has great educational value as well as being a means of preserving and vivifying his memory through the coming years. 
The cost of such a documentarian memorial movie which will tell the story of his life and his falling in battle is $15,000.

As friends who honor the memory of Amichai Shimon Rubin ,הי"ד and as you have spread some of his light in your community, we would like to check the possibility of your community participating in the production of this documentary movie.
